The other day it snowed here in NM where I live. My grandson got to stay home from school that day. I told him that when I was a kid I used to have to walk in the snow to school. Of course I didn't, but my Dad used to tell me this stuff, and he really had to. He grew up in the forties. Anyway, My age group (mid- forties) may be the last generation that when older folks tell us this, that it is actually true. I will tell my grandson things like, when I was a kid, we didn't have cell phones or I Pods. I suppose every generation has it easier than the previous, and harder as well. The temptations for youngsters now days is unbelievable, I don't envy them. The lack of technology of past generations is of course a setback. Every generation doesn't understand some things from the last, as future ones will not understand this one. What do you think are important differences between past generations and yours? Have a good day.---Keith
