Medical and psychiatric treatment has come a long way since medieval times. Some treatments used back then are just really scary and bizarre. The funny and even stranger thing is that they believed that these medieval treatments worked for various ailments. I found this video that shows some of the more bizarre treatments. Can you imagine having to go through some of these things. Very interesting video hope you enjoy. http://goo.gl/pn70cg Have a good Friday.---Keith
I don't know if you have ever had your home or car broken into, but it is a real drag. It is very infuriating and it makes you feel like you have been violated in some way. It has happened to me once many years ago. Burglars choose their targets based on people's carelessness of how they take precautions to guard themselves and their property. Predators also study their victims by how they carry themselves and how alert they appear to be. Here is an article titled 10 Things A Burglar Doesn't want You To Know. It is very interesting and may surprise you. http://goo.gl/VxtGf0 Have a good day.---Keith
Here is an interesting article I ran across about misconceptions of what we have always thought will kill us or perhaps save us. This a short, but interesting video. http://goo.gl/Sxtvsf Check it out, and as always feel free to browse my site and to comment. Have a good day.---Keith
As we travel through this life, there are periods when we encounter dark places. We feel hopeless, helpless , and we don't know how we will ever get through dark situations. These dark places are actually blessings, of course at the time of darkness, we don't realize it, that comes later. These times are necessary. If there were no dark places we wouldn't learn life lessons. Passing through these dark places help us to get closer to a higher power, helps us to love each other more, helps us to have more confidence in ourselves, gives us a greater appreciation for life. Mainly, it helps us to not sweat the small stuff. Through dark places we learn not to let the little things in life get us down. Dark places make us so much stronger. Think of a tulip, we plant the bulb in the ground in darkness. It grows breaking the surface into the light, and the result is something beautiful, we are the same way, once we break through the darkness, we are beautiful. "Notice every moment." Keith
