Here is an interesting article I ran across. It discusses important things to say to your child for empowerment. Kids are the future, and are so important. Helping them to feel empowered in this day in time is critical. Click on the link and enjoy. Try these to see if they indeed make your child feel empowered. Have a good day. I have always had vivid dreams throughout my life, and most of the time they are strange, very strange. I get some good ideas to write about from these dreams. I always keep a pad beside my bed and when I wake up from one of these dreams, I write it down and read it the next day. Many time I notice patterns in my dreams and can associate them to what I may be going through at that particular time in my life. I urge everyone to write down your dreams if you can remember them, and document any patterns you see. Notice if it relates to your life at the moment. Use these dreams to get material to write about, it really works well for me. I heard somewhere once that we dream every night , we just might not remember them. Fortunately I always remember mine it seems. Have a good day everyone . This link is to a dream dictionary. It is intersting, and tells you what your dreams mean. Enjoy. www.dreams-dictionary.org/ --Keith
I want to take the time to thank everyone who has purchased my books. It is a huge thrill to know that you want to read, and experience what I have to say. After all, that is why I write, and in my opinion why all writer’s should write. Recently I have finished the sequel to my first novel, “Shop Side.” This second in the serious, “The Symphony of Life,” is in the editing phase at this time. I hope that it will be accepted for publishing later this year. I am also working on a book of short stories titled, “Life Is Short, and So Are My Stories.” Watch for that one as well. Writing isn’t the easiest business to be in, but it is something that us creative types feel we have to do for some reason. With that being said, what are some projects you are working on? Are you enjoying yourself? Does writing help you to get through your day? I would love to hear your discussion on this. Keep writing, and have a good day….Keith
Simple Definition of change
One thing is a constant in life and that is change. There is a saying that I like, "If nothing changes, nothing changes," meaning if one doesn't change a particular behavior or thought, then the results will not change. You have to change something to see a change in other words. Change can be scary for some people because many people don't like change and have trouble accepting it and adjusting to it. It always will happen there is nothing we can do, so we may as well accept it and learn to adjust to it. If we don't, we stay stuck. Many people are stuck in outdated or old school thinking if you will. Bob Dylan wrote in his song, "The Times are a Changin," that if you can't lend a hand then get out of the way. I feel like that as well. If people can't change with the times, then move over and let us of those who can, pass by. Change doesn't have to be scary, afterall it happens. ---Keith We live in a world of technology and social media. We can watch a war taking place on CNN live. We are bombarded with information on cell phones , internet, television. If we want news it is at our fingertips every minute of our lives. With that being said, are newspapers even important anymore. What do yo think? On one side of the coin, newspapers, may be able to fill us in on some details that may be missed online, and they are cheaper than cell phone and internet bills.
On the other side of the coin, the less newspapers, the less trees are cut down. Many feel newspapers are outdated and a waste of time to print. In a world of chaos, and busy lives, you may ask, who has time to stop and buy a paper? Much less read it from front to back. Many older people still read the newspaper, but look around and you will see very few young people with a newspaper, it is a world of social media. Perhaps it is a shame to see the newspaper fading away, it could be viewed as an institution slipping away into a world of yesterday. Feel free to comment.---Keith |
