On the first page of this website there is an introduction I wrote about the guy that gave me my first guitar. He passed away this past Monday from complications due to Chemo. I give this man credit for saving my life by offering me an avenue when I was a teen, to get out of my environment. He taught me a lot and even though I had not seen him in close to fifteen years, he still played a significant part in my life at one time. Two things he used to tell me were, "Never say you can't do something," and "If someone ask you to do something that you don't know how to do, tell them you don't know how, but you can learn." He spent his life in the music businees and worked with all of the greats. He was on the road from the age of fifteen until January of this year, which was at least 45 years. He liked hotel rooms, so I am sure there is one in heaven. You will be missed Mike. ----Kelly

Mike liked goofy kids, so you fit right in. We will all miss him.
