When I was a kid I remember some friends and I built a tree house. It was two story and had a real door and a real window. I can't remember how we got our hands on a real door and window, but these two characteristics about it were the best. We had fun building it, and fun hanging out in it for years. We spent the night in it so many times over the years in the summer time. It was such a cool place to hang out in, and a nice memory. I write a lot about childhood memories. Growing up makes for the best stories. I wonder about kids now days. Do they even know what a hammer is? Would they even go out and attempt to build a tree house? Do they even know what a tree house is.? Technology has stolen this from them and us adults. I read the other day where in the coming years, that kids will not know what cursive writing is because everything in school is taught on computer. Many schools don"t even teach cursive writing anymore, this is really sad, and I find it scary. What a shame. Long live the tree house and cursive Feel free to browse my site and check out my books, Have a good day.--Keith
