This poem is about the innocence and care free feeling of being young. When we are young we have not been tainted by the harshness of life, it has not shaped us yet. By young I mean when we are children. This poem is about a man with struggles, and with a worry keeping him up at night, and so he is tired and sleeps in the day. The innocent little one doesn't understand and tells him everything will be okay. In life usually everything is okay. If we try to do the right thing, usually good things happen to us. Do you agree? "Awake in the dark-asleep in the light." By Keith Kelly Awake in the dark-asleep in the light. Headed towards gone as the face of life looks shockingly back at me. “Everything u’ll be ok Pappa,” he says. He doesn’t know what that means, he just repeats what he hears. We are all riders in an existence. What existence? Well, that’s your own creation. I’m just glad I didn’t live my whole life through before knowing you. That would be a shame. Life, that’s interesting. Can anyone really explain to me what it is? Death is also interesting. Can anyone really explain what that is? Innocence in young life is such a wonderful gift. A possession of no problems nor experiences gained from the pain of living. So much peace - lacking the knowledge of suffering, just being, one second at a time. We reach an age when we think we know life. In all reality we don’t and never will. If we did, then perhaps we wouldn’t take happy times for granted, and engage in irresponsible behaviors when life gets hard. We cry, we laugh, and at times sad. This amongst a troubled world of inconsistent actions by humans of existence swirling around trying to get whole.

Hi, Keith: I thought I'd check out earlier blogs on your site to see how much your blogging has changed. But every date I clicked on led me to a page saying "this page does not exist." I thought you might want to look into this.
