Do you think the internet makes the world a better place or a worse place to live? I am divided on this. Of course, it is wonderful in that any information we could ever want or need is at our fingertips in a matter of seconds. The internet can teach us and solve problems for us. It also can be destructive and hurtful if used in the wrong way, which is not the internet’s fault that is the users fault. I feel the internet does however, make society lazy, isolative and causes people stress, because t it so much information so fast, that it can be overwhelming. When I was a kid the “World Book Encyclopedia” was my internet, I actually learned and still know how to look stuff up in the phonebook and in a dictionary, unlike many kids today. The internet has done away with these things; some kids have never even heard of, “World Book.” The internet and I have bittersweet relationship, which I find hard to live without. I also find that it is taking society’s common sense away. What are your thoughts? “Notice every moment.”—Keith

I have not smoked a cigarette in thirteen years; however, banning smoking in public places I have always thought to be is ridiculous. I know this is an old debate, but it still gets to me. If I don’t want to be around a smoker in an establishment for example, I move, why can’t everyone else. Somebody always wants to criticize someone else about what they are doing and not look at their own behaviors. Some of these people who like the fact that smoking is banned are the same ones who drive these big vehicles that pollute our atmosphere, who do not recycle, and who waste water, etc. which damages our environment and health much more than the smokers in a restaurant. You are more likely to die in a crash on the way home from the restaurant than from breathing the smoke. “Notice every moment.”---Keith
If you were watching a little league baseball game in your hometown and a youngster struck out, and you saw his mother walk to the dugout reaching through the fence shaking him horrifically for striking out, would you get involved? I will predict that most people reading this would turn the other way, or act as if they didn’t see it. People are scared to get involved in this day and time. People feel it is none of their business. Would you at least call the police? or social services? Most will not even do this. If you wouldn’t , ask yourself why? “Notice every moment.”---Keith
I have been seeing this Duck Dynasty crap in stores. Shirts, hats underwear what not. I was bored one afternoon so I decided to look on you tube to see exactly who these people are. Within 1 second, I realized they are a bunch of rednecks. I then realized this family is a good example of why I moved from the south twenty-seven years ago and have never gone back. These Neckers, are also another perfect example of why I quit watching television five years ago. I apologize to myself for taking the time to see whom these people are. “I am sorry Keith.” lol, unbelievable. This is the kind of stuff that is dumbing down all of us. This is what television has resorted to? Television follows what society wants to watch and this is what we want to watch? I think this is embarrassing and scary. “Notice every moment.”—Keith
Ever contemplate what there may be in outer space? Are we the only ones? I tend to think we are not alone. I have never seen anything flying around in the night sky that even looked strange, but still think there has to be other life somewhere out there. I personally think it is fun to think about and it really sparks up nice conversation in hearing other’s opinions. I find it interesting that all people who have claimed to be abducted by aliens have said the same story for many, many years. In addition, people who claim to have been abducted all say they either have been struck by lightning, or know someone that has been. I don’t know about abduction, but there is a big universe out there, and we are only a very small part of it, how dare we think we are it, the only ones, but humans are selfish like that. “Notice every moment.” –Keith
