You hear people using this word a great deal. It has been popular for years now. I have been known to use it a time or two and in my writing sometimes in dialogue. Anyway, here is a neat video explaining the evolution of the word. Check it out. http://mentalfloss.com/article/65075/evolution-dude

An article I ran across talking about 21 famous authors' favorite books. I wish mine was on one of their lists. Wouldn't that be awesome. I hope everybody has a good weekend. Take care. ---Keith Article: http://goo.gl/CzfKSl
I write a lot about relationships in my novels and stories. I ran across this article that maybe gives us something to look forward to. If you're on the fence about marriage, maybe this will change your mind. http://goo.gl/vXMbM Here is the link: Have a good day. Keith
My novel Shop Side released Friday as I hoped. It s available through my publishing company and many online bookstores. Click on icon to the left to visit my books page. Below is an excerpt I hope you will enjoy.
Mother had convinced me that I needed to go with her to Atlanta for a small business seminar entitled, Mind Your Own Business. The whole experience was ridiculous and trite as the title. Truth is I’ve resented our family business for as long as I can remember and never intended to be stuck between the isles of groceries and shelves of bagels and donuts. Mother and dad inherited the store from my maternal grandparents, and the business became the favored child. Like the dutiful sibling of a princess, I spent every day after school, every weekend, and every summer day looking after its interest. Spending a week of my two-week annual vacation at a seminar was more than I could handle, because I fucking hated everything about business. The only bright spot over those four days was the fact that the presenter became ill and cancelled the last two days of the seminar. Of course, if I had known then what I found out a few hours later, I would have stayed and found a cheap place to rent. Today is the official release date of my novel Shop Side. It is available at http://www.fountainbluepublishing.com/ and is available in all major online bookstores. Enjoy the preview below: Capturing the dilemmas of gender, relationship, and contemporary life, Shop Side will absorb you immediately in its world. Frantically struggling in a web of stagnation and quirky friendships, Kaley Anderson is on a journey to find peace in her mundane life. Kaley realizes she does not travel this avenue alone. What unfolds on this mission is a series of invaluable lessons that make her life meaningful. Since she was a little girl, she has wanted to be a musician or a writer, but isn’t motivated to see these dreams through to completion. The novel is set in West Memphis, Arkansas and centers on Kaley’s business, a grocery store on one side and a bagel shop on the other. She feels trapped in what she refers to as her career of doom. Kaley’s ongoing search for peace introduces her to a quirky and unbelievable cast of friends. She discovers that Roscoe, her husband, wants to be a woman and later after their divorce transforms himself into Rozie Redd Skye. Mary, whom is Kaley’s best friend, suffers from Acrotomophelia and is on a life path of strangeness. David is a young man in search of answers that only Kaley can help him to answer. He struggles with his own demons and conflicts to resolve and through a journey of mazes, searches for Kaley in an unrelenting journey for truth. Shady Ray, Kaley’s longtime customer is a storyteller and has difficulty sorting truth from fiction. This is an unbelievable story that unravels in a friendly little store called Shop Side.
