In Wednesday's blog post I gave you a list of scenarios to visualize and work your way through. Here are what they supposed to mean.
1. Trees: if they are close to the house, you have close friends, if they are far then you have acquaintances. The number of tree's represents how many friends and acquaintances you have. An adult is said to have only three true friends in a lifetime. 2. The gate: This represents if you are scared of the unknown. How did you feel as you passed through this unfamiliar gate. 3. The surface of the water represents you intimate life. If the water is clear and smooth, then you communicate well with your partner. If the water is muddy, then you have communication issues. If the water is flowing then it means your relationship may be moving to fast. If the water is crashing over rocks it may be a relationship where there are many arguments /disagreements and what not. If you have both, then sometimes it is good and bad. 4. How did you get a cross? Represents if you think things through in your life before reacting. ex. If you jumped in and started swimming, you may do things in life without thinking about the consequences. If you took a boat for example or built a bridge to cross over the river, you think before you reacting. 5. The bear represents confrontation. If you ran from the bear, then you are scared of confrontation. If you stood your ground with the bear, that means you don't look for a confrontation, but you don't run from them either. If you killed the bear or wrestled with it or whatever, this means you like and seek confrontation Did these fit you? Have a good day. --- Keith

Read the instructions and then close your eyes visualizing each scenario. I will tell you what they mean in Friday's blog post. I bet you anything, they will fit your life at this particular moment in time.
1. Imagine your dream house. Focus on the tree's , are they far from the house, close to the house, and how many are there? 2. One day you notice a gate in your backyard that you have never seen before. You pass through it. How does it make you feel, nervous, sacred, curious? 3. You walk through the woods and come to a river. Is the water calm, is it flowing, is it clear, muddy, is there rocks in the river etc.? 4. You go to the other side. How do you get across. Walk, swim, boat etc.? 5. You get to the other side and a ten foot Kodiak bear is standing over you on its hind legs breathing on the top of your head. What do you do? Oh to be a kid again. All we had to do was play, that was our only job, or it was supposed to be anyway. Toys were much better when I grew up in the 1980's, today they are cheap and worthless. What was your favorite toy growing up? My favorite was the Evil Knievel stunt cycle. Anyone remember the Evil Knievel toys? The faster you turned the crank on the stand that the motorcycle sit on, the faster the bike would go. Of course the Evil Knievel action figure came with the bike. That bike would turn flips and wheelies, it was the coolest thing. I remember building ramps for him to jump over stuff. I jumped him over toy cars, toy buses, I even built small fires and jumped him over those. Dangerous but very fun. Childhood toys, what a great memory. Have a good day.---Keith
Just a few things I have learned in 46 years of life. Feel free to add to them in comments.
Anything can happen, we don't control shit. If you do wrong own up to it. Why carry resentments towards others, most of them don't now you resent them, and if they do they could care less. Why worry, the answer to anything we worry about has already been decided, we just don't know it yet, so why worry about something that we can't control. Love is good if you know what it is. Keith's freedom= I don't care what you think of me The only thing higher learning has done for me is get me good jobs. I have not used anything I learned in College on any of them. Learn patience because most people are annoying. If one doesn't have a dream they may as well go bury themself. You have to find yourself on your own, nobody can do it for you. I could go on and on these are just a few. Have a good day everyone.--Keith Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.
~Albert Einstein~ I love this quote. As a writer it is good to know the tools and technique of the trade. However, imagination is absolutely critical in writing. Without that, forget it. We all know this hopefully. Structure and rules of writing anybody can do. People can learn anything. People however cannot learn imagination. Thanks Albert you are awesome. Everyone have a good day.--Keith |
