Thanksgiving will once again be here soon. Turkey and dressing and sweets swallowed until we are sick. I remember going to my grandparents every year when I was a kid and having the feast of our lives. Other than this, it was kinda boring. A nap is always good after the meal however. My point of this blog is what is Thanksgiving really? We should be thankful everyday of our lives, and not wait until Thanksgiving arrives for everyone to get together. People may die in between. In my family, especially my kids , grandchild and girlfriend, well we get together a lot, just on regular weekends and what not, as well as my sisters and I. Thanksgiving can take place several times a year if we take the time from our time consuming jobs, and the bullshit we think is important. Off the subject is work, it is pitiful that in our society some people spend more time at work than they do with their family paying for a bunch of useless bullshit they don't need. Have Thanksgiving this afternoon. "Notice every moment." Keith

If you ask people when they've looked at themselves in the mirror last, they usually will say, "This morning." But when I ask you, (the readers), I mean when is the last time you really looked in the mirror studying your face? Observing the lines, the skin, your eyes, your flaws.? When is the last time you really took a long look at your beauty or imperfections. Most don't take the time to look in the mirror and really study and ask themselves who they are. Perhaps some don't like who they are and don't want to know. Here is an exercise. Go into a dark room , stand in front of a mirror with a flashlight under your chin shinning upwards where the light illuminates upwards across your face. Study your image, you will notice things about your face and yourself you never noticed before. This can be revealing as well as scary, but it is a learning experience. "Notice every moment." Keith
At the cusp of a new day, week, month, or year, most of us take a little time to reflect on our lives by looking back over the past and ahead into the future. We ponder the successes, failures and standout events that are slowly scripting our life’s story. This process of self reflection helps us maintain a conscious awareness of where we’ve been and where we intend to go. It is pertinent to the organization and preservation of our dreams, goals and desires.
Think about life without time, without wearing a watch, or looking at a clock. I actually know a lady who quit wearing a watch back in 89. I asked her once how she knows when to be somewhere and she says your body gets used to it and you just know. She went to bed when she was tired and she woke when she woke. She ate when she was hungry. She went to work when she got ready and left whenever the work was done. I tried this for a day once and it is difficult. Life would be easier without time constraints. Time is man made anyhow. All there is , is light and dark. It would be very empowering to live without having to be constrained by the time of day. We spend our time rushing the days away looking forward to the weekend or what not. Each day is a gift and we should enjoy it, not rush it away. "Notice every moment." Keith
There are many thoughts that travel through my mind at any given time. Thoughts that in my opinion deserve contemplation. Perhaps a bit strange, but nevertheless, at least I have thoughts. One thing that crossed my brain lately is what if in this life we are living on earth is the after life, a waiting place, so to speak. Suppose we have already lived our lives, have died and were sent here to wait for the "Big judgement" day, depending on ones belief system. Perhaps we are born into heaven and that is where everyone lives and if we do wrong there, we are sent here to live as a punishment. After all, for many life is hell on earth. Many people fear death, well I believe we have had many lives, I believe our souls have always been, we just get reborn into another source of energy over and over. If this is the case, then we have died thousand's of times. We don't remember dying, so why be scared of something we will not remember. Being dead, is just like the time before we were born. We didn't know anything. "Notice every moment." Keith
